Tyrone Cristal is unique and individual. Each piece is mouth blown, hand cut and polished. The manufacturing process is fascinating, it requires the attention of twenty six highly trained people and attracts visitors from all over the world.
At the factory visitors can avail of a guided tour and find out about every step in the crystal making process. Following a factory tour, visitors are invited to browse round the craft centre....

We stock excellent hand woven tweeds from Clifden and Donegal, also a very large selection of hand knit sweaters in a wide range of patterns and colours. We also stock the famous Connemara marble and crafts made from the local turf, also paintings from local artists and a good selection of books and tapes. Delvin is a picturesque village, approximately 13 miles north of Mullingar on the N52. Delvin Castle, situated on the southern approach to the town was built in the 13th century by the Norman family, Nugent. In the surrounding area, is Clonyn Castle, now home to Delvin Golf Club. Ballyarnet Country Park, Derry, Derry
This exhibition centre was erected to commemorate the unexpected landing of Amelia Earhart on her historic solo flight across the Atlantic on 21 May 1932.

A museum guide is available for a tour of the centre, who will show where Amelia Earhart landed and will answer any questions on the event.
The centre is located to the north of the city within Ballyarnett natural park. Visits are by appointment....

They were usually made of cast iron and the standard type consisted of two vertical holders with the cleaning bar in between. Most had intricate designs. The Great Blasket Island, located off the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, is known for its historic, cultural and literary heritage.

In the 1920's and 1930's, native Blasket writers produced books which have become classics of their kind. As its young people continued to emigrate, the Blasket community declined. The island was abandoned in 1953 when only 22 inhabitants remained.
