Established 1896 The course is mostly flat and features 4 par 3’s (137 - 192 metres in length). The final four holes have often ruined a good score. A feature of the course is the 'Fulacht Fiadh', an ancient Irish kitchen. This type of kitchen dates back to the Bronze Age. Visitors will find the golf club, like the city, very friendly....

Callan Golf Club is a 18 hole parkland course. It was developed in 1929. This is an excellent course and provides challenges for golfers of every level.

Established 1991and has 18 holes.  It boast 7300 yards of Championship layout. The course challenges the professional, and yet is equally rewarding from the forward tees for higher handicap golfers.
