There is a 4 fish bag limit and a 10 inch size limit. The western shore is dangerous and closed to anglers and the well served with stiles and footbridges and there is a car park nearby. Lough Bradan is a gin clear mountain lough, well stocked with brown trout which are naturally free rising. It is situated 6 miles north east of Ederny and nearly 5 miles west of Drumquin. Access is via a by road to the north and there is a car park close to the water. Bradan gets a hatch of chironomids, a very big hatch of sedges, and a prolific caenis hatch.
